Mr. Carmichael.

In this post and my next post, I'm going to discuss my choices for casting.  In this post, I'm specifically going to talk about my choice for the teacher.

The easiest option is to get my dad to play this role. I've mentioned this in one of my previous posts but I still feel this is the easiest option of mine.  Especially because of the difficulty of looking for an adult actor, it will be easier to have my dad play this sociable, understanding, and fun character.

I know what I want Mr. Carmichael to wear but in my last posting about the teacher, I didn't delve into his history as much.  I think that he sees a lot of himself in the boy's character in that he is trying to discover who he is.

-------

I just spoke with my dad and he agreed to play the part! With him, I created a schedule of my shooting schedule (I will share that in a posting next week).  There are a few days where I am traveling due to spring break, so it's essential that my actors are able to attend shootings.

After I make my post about my casting of the boy, I'm going to make a post about my script that I am going to be working on this week.  Because I have my actors chosen (for the most part), it will be easy to envision them having a conversation and interacting with one another.
